Vocabulary: expand vocabulary to communicate in multiple literary contexts by: communicate clearly and accurately (listening/speaking), use expanded vocabulary for commonly used words, record word information and integrate word study, apply (using) tier 2 and  tier 3 words to describe subject content, analyze (confirming) meanings of words or phrases (figurative /non figurative), spellings, or word choices, use digital or non digital sources, examine and use analogies, morphemes, word origins and affixes to compare/clarify/influence word meanings (bases) and spellings, predict meanings of unfamiliar words using morphological cues.
