











Grade 6 Math Geometry (Polygons & Cartesian Plane)

Student Learning Outcomes: locate, relate, model, describe and create the location and movement of points and polygons on the Cartesian plane (given/using the coordinates) by: the intersection of axes on the horizontal and vertical representations of the number line, indicating the location of vertices, translation, line of reflection (over the x or y axis), and rotation (the angle and direction) by one of its vertices at 90°, 180°, 270° clockwise or counter clockwise.
Unit Plans: 180 Learning Activities for Grade 6 Mathematics based on the new LearnAlberta curriculum from Alberta Education. Includes embedded instructional videos for all student learning outcomes in each learning activity. There are 180 instructional days in the school year.
