








Grade 6 Math Measurement (volume)

Student Learning Outcomes: recognize, visualize, determine, model, create and solve problems involving volume of right rectangular prisms (in familiar contexts) by: dragging/iterating an area using manipulatives or digital applications, stacking congruent nonstandard units or cubic centimetres without gaps or overlaps to create a 3 dimensional shape/array and using multiplication to calculate the volume.
Unit Plan: 180 Learning Activities for Grade 6 Mathematics based on the new LearnAlberta curriculum from Alberta Education. Includes embedded instructional videos for all student learning outcomes in each learning activity. There are 180 instructional days in the school year.
